Approaching the market
Dalhousie is not a very big place per se. The roads that lead to the one main market, called Gandhi Chowk are steep. The uphill climb can be quite a task for people on heavier sides. However, the scenic beauty of each and every corner of this place is unparalleled.

The Gandhi Chowk, the main market area of Dalhousie has a range of handicraft and clothing products, that one may want to pick up. Also, the Tibetian & Indian Union around the corner of Gandhi chowk is a street-side showing outlet to pick up Tibetian stuff, elecrtronics and small knick-knacks.
