Approaching the market
Dalhousie is not a very big place per se. The roads that lead to the one main market, called Gandhi Chowk are steep. The uphill climb can be quite a task for people on heavier sides. However, the scenic beauty of each and every corner of this place is unparalleled.
The Gandhi Chowk, the main market area of Dalhousie has a range of handicraft and clothing products, that one may want to pick up. Also, the Tibetian & Indian Union around the corner of Gandhi chowk is a street-side showing outlet to pick up Tibetian stuff, elecrtronics and small knick-knacks.
Dalhousie has a line of beautiful hotels varying across all budgets. They are all built on the step-hills of the hill-station and offer scenic views. Each place looks straight out of a fairy tale.
The beauty of Dalhousie cannot be summed up in words. You need to visit it to feel it!!
